The Cruel Summer 2023 Rug, available exclusively at FIFTH OF MARCH Studios, is more than just a design; it is a heartfelt tribute. This unique piece represents the 3 influential people in my life that lost their lives to gun violence. As my first attempt using the gradient technique, this rug stands as a testament to the resilience and artistry born out of personal tragedy. It took over two months to complete, reflecting the emotional and creative struggles following the loss of my sons' father to gun violence.
