Rug Tufting 102 Finishing A Tufted Rug

In this hands-on instructional class, participants will learn to use scissor, carving shears, and carpet adhesive to finish a tufted rug

 The 3-hour class will cover the basics of carving, trimming, and applying rug backing to complete a rug.

Project-specific supplies are included in the cost of the workshop (participants will need to bring a completly tufted rug). 

Day and Time: Saturday 10 am - 1 pm

Cost: $150

Experience Level: Beginner to intermediate

* Should enrollment fall below the minimum number of participants, the workshop will be cancelled prior to the scheduled day. FOMS staff will contact you about cancellations 24-48 hours before the scheduled workshop date.*

Health & Safety: Masks are optional; Fifth of March Studios is able to supply workshop attendees with a mask if needed.  Fifth of March Studios will continue to evaluate the risk of hosting in-person events on a day-by-day basis. If we determine it wise to cancel, you will receive email notification and a full refund. At this time, the event will not require vaccination proof.
