Punch Needle or Rug Tufting Workshop

Learn the art of Rug Tufting w/ Nonie DOPE! Featuring local Graphic Designer and Rug Tufter @shawtyontheteesIn this hands-on instructional class, participants will learn to use power tufting machines to create a rug. After the 2-3-hour class you will finish with a completed rug.Frame, cloth, yarn, and project-specific supplies are included in the cost of the workshop for use only. Fifth of March Studios will provide tufting machines for use during the workshop, or participants may bring their own.Each class will be themed so be sure to pick which designs you would like to tuft. We will have 10 colors to choose from.Street parking is provided.

Please arrive 5-10minutes before the start time.Any participant more than 30 mins late will not have time to complete your rug.

Cost: $80

In this workshop students will gain knowledge in setting up and using materials to create an embroidered patch. This skill can be used to make iron-on, velcro, sew-on embroidery patches, key chains,rugs, drink coasters, etc. Students will leave class with a completed embroidery patch and all materials.

Each class will be themed so be sure to pick which designs you would like to tuft. We will have 10 colors to choose from.
