Naje Fields also known as “Nonie Dope” is a well-known Washingtonian based in the Historic Anacostia community. She began her artist journey at Kramer Middle school with Digital art and clothing design.She has recently shifted her focus to rug tufting and has been perfecting her craft for a little over 2 years. Her art is inspired by her love of music and community. She also has used her art as a tool to battle and cope with anxiety and grief.
